This year was a great year for me in terms of doing new things. Packt publishing approached me to create a video course on ECMAScript 2015. Since ECMAScript is evolving year on year we decided that it was good to create 2 parts to this course. I am glad to announce that yesterday my second part of the course went live. In this blog post i just wanted to provide links to my 2 courses. Here they are:

Programming with ECMAScript 2015

This is the part 1 of the course. We released this in April 2017. You can find more about the course on Packts website here – https://www.packtpub.com/web-development/programming-ecmascript-2015-video

In this first part of the course emphasis is on understanding JavaScript as a language, ECMAScript as a specification, different versions of JavaScript and finally a look at ECMAScript 2015. The whole course is easy to follow and has plenty of code examples.

You can view the course overview video here.

ECMAScript 2016 and Beyond:

This is the second part of the course. This was released on Dec 8 2017. You can find more information about the course on Packts website here – https://www.packtpub.com/web-development/ecmascript-2016-and-beyond-video

The second part of the course focuses on ECMAScript 2016 & 2017 specifications, How to use ECMAScript today in your projects and Working with Babel and Webpack – both for browser as well as for Node environment. This part also is very easy to follow, simple concepts and packed with plenty of code examples.

You can view the course overview video here.

Conclusion:

It was a completely different experience for me. It has taken me close to 10 months to create 2 part video course. Creating a video course is completely different from that of blog writing. It has its own dynamics and it has it own boundaries. I had to be careful of my language, pronunciation and speed of my talking. I enjoyed this experience thoroughly. I hope you will try the course by subscribing to it. I will be eager to know any feedback/comment you may have about my course. Do let me know by means of comments below.

Till next time – Happy Coding. Code with Passion, Decode with Patience.
