In this post we will look at a new service launched by Microsoft. We all are aware of Microsoft Forums – one of the go to places for asking questions and getting an answer for our question. There are many forums like MSDN Forum – for anything related to development & developers, Technet Forum – for anything related to ITPro, to name a few.
Wouldn’t it be nice if I were to access these forums even on the go through my mobile. Well now you can – yes – Microsoft has released a new web version of these forums which can be browsed from your smart phones. So lets take a look at this new web version and get to know its features in the following sections.
What is Microsoft Forums:
“Microsoft Forums”Application allows you access MSDN, TechNet and Office365 forums directly right from your mobile devices. You can keep on track with the hottest topics, your own threads, favorite forums, in search with major topics, FAQs, and the latest news from OneCode & OneScript. Microsoft Forums connects you with our forum communities like never before.
Accessing Microsoft Forums on phone:
Just point your browsers on your phone to http://aka.ms/msforums. Current supported browsers on phone are as follows:
IE 9.0 or Higher (Windows Phone 7.5)
Safari 4.0 or higher (iOS)
Firefox 3.5/Safari 4.0 or higher (Android)
