On February 20, 2011 i will be giving my first presentation of the year. The event is known as “Microsoft Dreamspark Yatra 2011” to be held in Bangalore. I am glad to say that i have been asked to speak at this Microsoft event.
Dreamspark is a programme from Microsoft aimed at University or High School students. Through Dreamspark programmer Microsoft allows the students to download professional developer, designer and gaming software at no charge. The students benefit from this program by getting exposure to tools and the technology at very early stage.Currently through Dreamspark program, Microsoft offers the following software’s for download:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition
- Microsoft Expression Studio 1.0
- Microsoft Expression Studio 2 Trial Edition (includes Web, Blend, Media, and Design)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition
- IT Academy Student Pass
I was approached by one of the Microsoft Student Partner, Ninaada Bellipaddy, for approaching me and asking if i can deliver a session. I readily accepted it and was glad that i was given a chance to be on the podium. The only challenge for me will be the change in audience. So far i have spoken in front of a technical crowd. But now i will be speaking in front of the future developers of India. So i need to be careful in what picture i paint as the same might get imprinted in their mind. Will be a challenging assignment for me. I will be speaking about “Webmatrix” the new play tool in the stack of web application development.
