Today is Dec 31 2010 – the last day of the year and this will be my last post for the year 2010.
While looking back at this year I am happy to say that 2010 has been a fruitful year for me in terms of my association with .NET community. I gave my first ever profession presentation/talk in this year. Attended Developer Conference a event hosted by the community, for the community and from the community. I started to write blog posts. I started to use twitter and foursquare. Was also featured in what I call as my 5 seconds of fame as part of CNN IBN coverage on use of GPS in smart phones in India. I built my new web presence by purchasing my own domain and web hosting space. Won a MSDN giveaway which was conducted by my good friend Vijay Raj (msigeek.com).
My biggest take away from the year has to be Community Tech Days Mysore – a premiere event sponsored by Microsoft and conducted my Microsoft in association with Mysore Geeks, where I was asked to present. Here is a look back at the year that was:
Expecting 2011 to be a good year. I intend to post more articles on my blog. Being a new year I have decided to start a fresh i.e. have decided to start blogging on server side technologies of Microsoft .NET platform – which includes anything from ASMX web services to WCF to latest on the blocks WCF Data Services/OData.
